Dr. Jonathan Milner

Sapperton Wilder was founded by Dr Jonathan Milner, a molecular biologist, Cambridge biotech entrepreneur and Stroud local who was born and raised in Minchinhampton.

After working with Sir David Attenborough on the A Life on Our Planet project (now a major film), Jonathan decided that the best projects start at home and therefore set about looking for land that was degraded and of little value for food production but of enormous value for restoring nature, biodiversity and food yields by restoring soil health via regenerative farming.

In 2021, he was very fortunate to meet a landowner that had exactly the same idea and the project has blossomed from there.
