Transitioning from intensive farming practices into systems that are incentivising land management for nature recovery is a great challenge. Like any paradigm industry shift, there are skills and technology gaps for farmers to navigate and achieve a realistic transition.
The Evolution Education Trust has funded a number of studentships to build data around citizen science and addressing shifts in skills & behaviour in the transition from agriculture to nature-based recovery.
